Press release from the City of Raleigh: Mar 17, 2022 Upload a photo of a tree you would like to nominate for Raleigh's Tree of the Year(link is external). Please include the address or nearest park, type of tree and why you nominated the tree. Please note that the tree must be located in Raleigh and be visible from the street if on private property. Nominations will be accepted through March 28 at 5 p.m. Voting will begin March 29 and end on April 4 at 5 p.m. The person with the most votes on April 4 at 5 p.m. will receive a certificate. A yard sign is provided to the property owner/ or placed near the tree if located on City property. This press release was produced by the City of Raleigh.
