Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: March 17, 2022 Spring CommencementSunday, May 1, Alaska Airlines Center Morning Ceremony, 11 a.m.College of Business & Public Policy, College of Arts & Sciences, School of Education Afternoon Ceremony, 6 p.m.Community & Technical College, College of Engineering, College of Health RSVP now for spring commencement ceremonies! An RSVP is required for all participating graduates. Graduates can attend in person or watch online. Names of graduates watching online will only be announced if an RSVP is received. The ceremonial hooding of master's and doctoral degree candidates will be included in each commencement. This event will adhere to mask policies currently in place on the UAA campus. Graduates can reserve up to six guest seats on a socially distanced seating chart grouped in blocks of two at the Alaska Airlines Center. A link with a promo code will be provided shortly after receipt of the graduate's RSVP. Additional guest seats may become available to all graduates closer to the event. Cap, gown and tassel are required to participate in commencement. A hood is also required for master's and doctoral degree candidates.
