Found a homing pigeon in my backyard this evening with an ankle ID bracelet. It seemed to be unable to fly so I figured better to catch it and keep safe over night. I see a large group of them fly nearby often so I think the owner is in the area. I assume it got separated or had some trouble and landed in my yard. If you're missing one of your pigeons please contact me. I may try to release it tomorrow after some rest and see if it can fly back to it's home. I know these pigeons are smart and well trained.
