... Seeking jam band drummer for Fridays 10pm to 2am. We think a busy, funky, proggy, jazzy, drummer would be great. We will love it as long as you just show up and keep good time. We already have space/ bass/ keys/ guitar/ vocals. We play Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia and Phish and Free Form jams. We play in our own style, with lots of improvisation. Ages range from the 20s to the 60s here. This is for fun and we will play gigs when we can get them-- it is casual, easy going, and good vibes all around here. Sometimes we may play with 2 drummers so you need to be good with that-- our drummer is away most Fridays from April through September so you will likely be the only drummer during those times-- but when we can get 2 drummers in at the same time we will. We have an electric drum set here, (Alesis Drums Turbo Mesh Kit), so if you want to use that you can just show up and play, and (of course) you are free to bring your own gear if you prefer.
