We are looking to hire 4-6 additional painters and 1 or 2 foremen for this coming summer and into next fall/winter if possible! About us: After graduating from MSU in 2019, we started Bobcat Painting. In the summer we do exterior painting and staining around Bozeman and the 4 Corners area. The vast majority of our jobs are either in town or within 15-20 minutes of Bozeman. If you continue past October, we would start doing interior paint jobs around town through the winter. We spray most of our jobs, so a big part of the role includes masking and spraying. Pay: Untrained painters - starting at $20/hour with performance evals and raises to increase to $25/hour once trained. Experienced painters - $25/hour Foremen - $30-35/hour Schedule: We aim to work Monday through Thursday 10 hours/day adding to 40 hours/week. Overtime hours are possible as well. Full-time employees will start in May and go full time through the end of August or September. We will continue working into the fall/winter, but this is not required as we understand some employees may be returning to school. We aim to start at 8 am and wrap up at 6 pm. In the early season, we may have to take a few days off because of rain and then we will work Friday to make up for missed days, but this becomes less and less frequent throughout the season. Crews: We typically run 3 crews of 3-4 people per crew. Most of our painters and foremen are in their 20s and are hardworking, but friendly and laid-back guys and girls. We provide on-site training so the experience is preferred but not required. Expectations: Willingness to show up on time and work outside 40 hours/week. Ability to climb 6' - 32' ladders for exterior masking and painting. Ability to lift ladders and other equipment around the job site. Foremen (not 100% necessary) would preferably have a truck for towing a small single axle trailer and carrying equipment and supplies.
