Looking for big breed puppies. Danes etc

Hello I am looking for a large breed puppy or dog, something like a dane/mastiff/etc. The thing is I grew up around bigger dogs and I fancy them more. My son who is autistic loves animals and I feel like a big dog would do him wonders since he does not have friends at school or interact with children in general. He is 9 years old. I am willing to pay up to 300 for a dog but I would have to save for that amount for a little bit (I know it is already low price, i dont need to have a pure bred.
