Loose Dog Running on Street

Description

There was a medium-sized (maybe 45-50lb) beige/white mutt with pointy ears running around Mount Pleasant Ave near Chalkstone. We tried to loop it in a leash but it was skittish/ran away. Its owner was tracking it in a black truck. I just want to know if anybody has seen this dog in the Mount Pleasant/Valley/Elmhurst/Smith Hill area? And, if the owner sees this, we want to know if the dog was found safely?
