SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A motorcycle crash took the life of its rider Monday evening in rural Sonoma Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatality was reported at 6:22 p.m. at Madrone Road and state Highway 12, near Woodside Court in the community of Eldridge, the CHP said. Emergency personnel remained at the scene well after 8 p.m. Bay City News Service contributed to this report.
