Type of Job: Full-time KEWANEE, ILLINOIS Knowledge, Skill, and Experience required: Dry walling including painting and carpentry Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures HVAC experience preferred but not required EPA certification preferred but not required 2+ years maintenance experience A valid Driver's License is REQUIRED Responsibilities Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority Learning and utilizing the Buildium App to respond to work orders. Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants Painting both interior and exterior applications Keep an accurate inventory list of tools, materials, and supplies needed to run the building day to day and turning units Working hand-in-hand with the Property Manager on a monthly budget review Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program Exterior structural maintenance as needed Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping, mowing, shoveling, plowing) Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
