We are in search of a Part-time Organizing Assistant to support our Lead Organizers in implementing efficient organizational systems. Tasks may include decluttering, sorting, packing, unpacking, categorizing, labeling, developing filing systems, choosing appropriate storage solutions for each space, and coordinating donations. Being able to quickly identify necessary and unnecessary objects in a room as well as assessing how a space could be used more efficiently is essential. We primarily work in clients' homes; sometimes this means working in garages, attics, and storage areas. This position may advance into a Lead Organizer position for the right candidate (if desired). Job Requirements: - You must be extremely reliable and have an eye for home organizing and decorating. - Mental and physical stamina as well as outstanding attention to detail. - Basic knowledge of available storage solutions and where they can be obtained. - Basic administrative skills. - Compliance with our standards of ethics, integrity, and procedures. - Ability to work independently and in a team, interacting directly with clients while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times. - Reliable transportation to clients' homes. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs & to stand, bend and be active for extended periods of time. - Being comfortable using basic tools and a small ladder. - Ability to tolerate spaces that are not environmentally controlled (we do not work in garages and attics from June to September unless they are air conditioned) Schedule: - Flexible (as-needed); varies between 5 and 25 hours per week. - Four - eight hour workdays from Monday through Friday; occasional Saturdays.
