Description
PETALUMA, CA — A Santa Rosa man was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale, Petaluma police said.
A K-9 officer was on vehicle patrol at 8:48 p.m. in the 5100 block of Montero Drive and contacted Kyle Summers, 28, for expired car registration, police said in a news release.
Summers admitted to having narcotic paraphernalia in his car, so the officer did a search of the car and of Summers and found a large amount of cash and an ounce of methamphetamine, police said.
When the K-9, Cash, found additional drug paraphernalia and evidence in the car that indicated Summer had the narcotics for the purpose of selling them, Summers was placed under arrest, police said.
