Found military service medal

Found a service medal in its box. The box isn't in very good condition but everything is still there. It was found by the mail boxes at Erica Village Apts on 3/18. I'm hoping to return it to it's rightful owner. If you can tell me what the medal is and what it is for I'll have to assume it's yours. Please respond through email with the subject "service medal" If you didn't lose a medal or were never in the military, please have a little respect and don't even respond. Thank you.
