Privately owned telecom construction company looking for an Aerial Groundhand to assist in the construction of coax strand and fiber optic communications network construction. This is an entry level position. After the training period, pay will change from daily to production basis with no cap on earning potential. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles and bucket lifts safely. Must be able to understand and follow all safety and traffic regulations. Job Type: 1099 Contactor Experience: Entry Level Pay: Starting at $125/per day (bi-weekly pay) Shift: Monday-Sunday 8am-5pm (shift days/times may vary) Work Environment: Outside in various weather conditions Requirements: • Valid Driver’s License (Class A CDL Preferred but not necessary) • Lift 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs as needed • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Work efficiently and pick up on new skills quickly • Reliable transportation • Basic knowledge of and the ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner • Basic knowledge of and the ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner Duties: • Provide tools/hardware as needed, move bucket truck as directed by Lineman • Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lashers, chain saw etc. • Ensure job site safety and set up safe perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers; flagging traffic when required • Heavy lifting will be required; must have the ability to lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment • Maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignments daily • Perform various aerial construction labor including but not limited to, preparing, and assembling various line apparatus, utilizing equipment to install ground rods and anchors, assisting in hoisting aerial poles, and operating various types of construction equipment *****Serious inquiries only***** Please text Demetrius 404-621-3167
