Press release from the Peoria County Government: Posted on: September 30, 2020 South Glasford Road Closure on October 5 A portion of South Glasford Road, between East 2nd Street and East 4th Street in the Village of Glasford, will be closed on Monday, October 5, from approximately 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Pioneer Rail Corp will be reconstructing the railroad crossing. Motorists are asked to use the posted detour or avoid the area if possible. A map of the detour is attached. Heavy truck traffic will need to seek an alternative route.
