Bassist looking for practice project players

Hey there. I’m an intermediate-level bassist living in an empty nest. I thought it would be an interesting practice project to put together a group of players to learn one album all the way through and then either play it for some friends or just be done. That’s it. No permanent band, no debate about songs, no originals, no pressure. Just a one and done. I’m a long-time U2 fan so I’m looking for one or two guitarists, someone who can sing, and a drummer to learn U2 - War all the way through. I’m including myself in this as I haven’t learned any of the songs yet, either. There are 10 songs to learn so allowing for the typical personal conflicts, I’m thinking a 3-4 month commitment, practicing once a week when possible. I fully expect this might be a side project for some people, me included. I’m chasing the buzz of playing live with other musicians, so my only requirement is that you come mostly prepared so no one has to watch you learn your individual parts.
