First, if this Randy guy is a racist. Why are we even wasting our time on him? Second, not everyone in a particular party is racist. So calling the dems racist. Is misplaced. Especially with the track record of most the people associated with the gop. Over the last several decades. Sort of the pot calling the kettle black.. As a dem. We understand. That some people. Of any color. Can have legitimate concerns. That the influence of the main bulk as a whole. Of a particular race. Can seem to be. Or possibly is counter productive to. Or destructive of. (To put it broadly.) What they feel. We as a people or country or life style. Should be. The difference between or parties. Is that at a certain point. We as dems feel we have to acknowledge. That the countermeasures. That some of these people have employed. To guard themselves, their lives. Against the perceived dangers. Slowly (coupled with the fears of the past.) Have caused a series of systematic. Overall. Set of self perpetuating barriers to the people. That others consider to be the problem. Preventing or denying them the same quality. Of life. That should be equal to us all. Of course. The same in a round about way. Can be said for any umber of different groups. And how they feel. They're being treated. To this end. As humans as a whole. Often in our desperation. To fight. These almost limitless and unsolvable. Anxieties. We fall back on a mixture of racism, religion, political stance, historical citings, finger pointing at current actions etc. As tools of war. So to speak. And for many. It is a war. The problem with it lies in how each side. Chooses. To fight. And how unreasonable the other side. Finds this. Thus causing another fight. And so on and so on. All the way right up to the Supreme Court. And now we have even tainted them. Causing another fight. Now, many are fearing. That our democracy is failing. And many are quick. To point out who or what is the cause. The fact is that democracies fail for a variety of reasons. Gridlock. Opens us up to all maner of destruction from many different directions. Attack from others during our weakness, civil war, anarchy, breakdown of the infastucture and many others. Someone shoots someone. Same effect. Rise of a dictator or ruler or ruling body. That the people get behind. Either out of fear of repercussion or hope. Of making it better. Division. Branching off into little countries. Or all most totally exclusive states. And the list goes on forever. What makes America different from all other democracies. Is that in the beging. Our founding. (Drunken, philandering, bi sexual, money and land grubbing. Piss poor business men.) fathers Knowing all of this. Because many of them were very either intellectual. And educated or world traveled or better. Did their best. To design a system. That kept both sides of any one coin as equil as possible. So the fight could continue. Not have an end goal. (Other then the basic rules they layed down for the game. And the spirit of it. (That's why we call it :The Spirit of America". No set of rules will ever cover it. We have to carry the idea. That as long as we have sides. And do our best to keep them. The fight continues. As long as we have the fight. We have democracy. When one side wins. And the fight stops We no longer have democracy. We have something else. There is now. And has ever only been. One way to keep. The spirit of America. And thus the country alive. We must stop voting for representatives and leaders. That represent our ideals. That fight for our causes first. We must vote for those. Who first and formost. Fight. For an America ballanced enough. To continue to fight. Not win. Then work on some of our concerns. And find ways to meet middle ground. So America is as best as is possible. Under the circumstances. For all who live and come here. Not ones who will fight endlessly over the rules. But ones who will fight for. The spirit behind the rules first. No matter what this causes. No matter what it cost us. Without this. Not only does the democracy fail. But the American experiment fails with it. Will it hurt? Yep. It always has and always will. America like anything new and different. Has a huge cost. A cost we have all pledged to make to the last one of us. If your picking sides first. You've already given up on America. Now I'm not dumb. I know the next time you vote. Your not going to find a candidate That's not polarized. We did this. (Or those before us and we just added to it.) And since we've already paralyzed our government. If we want to preserve America. (If even for only a little longer. As all man made systems fail eventually. We're just trying to find a way to keep jump starting it. Over and over again without loosing any more than we have to.) We will only have a couple of options open to us. One, We the people. Must start a new political party together. One that puts. Not what we want. But the spirit. Of the continued fight on equal terms. First. Or hold another civil war. To wipe out all of the stupid bastards. On the other side. To keep us from splitting up. The wisdom (and probably at the time the only practical and most expedient option available to them.) Of the past. And of course. Even though it bought us more time. It doesn't exactly instill America as the shinning bacon. We need it to be. In the eyes of the rest of the world. In order to promote democracy. So... until then. At least when you vote. Ask yourself " what's more important? What I feel I need to save the country from the evil. Or who is trying to be a mediator. Trying to work something out For good or bad. Because mediation. Is the fight. It's our only way. People who stand up and say this what we're going to do. Without first making sure they preference it with please understand both sides. I have to fight for both. Is just another dictator. Not matter what they solve or not. So not to be political. When we saw Trump stand up and say we're not going to stand for this. Or going to stop that. No matter what good he may do. No matter how much it profits America. We could not vote for him. Because he violates. The true " spirit" of America. Biden no natter what kind of screw up he may be. First thing out of his mouth was. I need to represent all of the people. Or if doesn't work. So good bad or indifferent. Whether it weakens America or strengthens it. (That's not our job. Our job is to keep the ideal alive.) He was trying to uphold. The true spirit. Without that. The dems might just as well go back to Great Britain. And the gop might as well go live with putin.
