The ideal candidate will have experience in general property maintenance with the desire to perform quality work. Immediate opening. Schedule varies but ranges between 8:30am and 4:30pm most days M-F. See job description below: JOB DESCRIPTION: As a General Laborer, you will work as a jack-of-all-trades. For example, you might work in construction, landscaping, hauling materials, or even chopping firewood. In this role, you will need to be able to learn new tasks quickly, as what’s required of you can change rapidly from day to day or even hour to hour. You will need to be physically fit enough to spend most of the day on your feet and be open to taking direction from various people, including fellow team members with more experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic tasks on construction sites, to include but not limited to painting, basic electrical, wall repairs, flooring Perform basic landscaping tasks as assigned, to include mowing, weeding, tree trimming, clearing sidewalks, power washing, etc. Haul goods and materials from one place to another, to include dump runs Work efficiently & safely ALWAYS Do your part to help us maintain a clean working environment Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an active Driver’s License to use work vehicles Must have reliable transportation to get to and from jobsites Must show up when scheduled with a good attitude regularly (reliability is key) Be flexible and willing to perform various duties in service to the company Be an effective communicator who can connect with other staff and clients Be physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift at least up to 50 lbs. Be able to represent yourself and our community in a positive and professional manner Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills Knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools without supervision Be able to follow instructions Be able to both work independently and with a team of people with limited to no supervision MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
