Wanting to play Blues (more traditional than rockin', and instrumental Blues even better!), Americana, Classic Soul, Soul Jazz (not Real Book/Standards). Basically that kinda stuff. Happy to be in a band backing up cool singers w/ an occasional solo, or part of an instrumental group taking up more space. Would love to be in a rock band too, but the kinda stuff I like/can play in that world is pretty much never what I see folks looking for; but you never know, I guess. I will put the work in to get the tunes right, and in most cases I can be a good soloist; and I like doing that ;) Need to hear what you sound like before getting back to you, so please email samples of what you have going w/ your contact message.
