58 Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Pasadena As Of Monday

LOS ANGELES, CA — There are now 6,377 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Los Angeles County, including 230 in Long Beach and 58 in Pasadena, which each have their own public health departments, health officials announced Friday. Health officials also announced 15 new deaths of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 147. Of the 6,377 confirmed cases, 599 are still under investigation. New evidence suggests that there may be a "significant number of people infected with COVID-19 who are asymptomatic and capable of spreading the virus to others," a Los Angeles County Public Health Department news release said. County health officials are urging against any outings this week as the nation's surgeon general warned that the worst days of the outbreak are almost upon us. "If you have enough supplies in your home, this would be the week to skip shopping altogether," said Ferrer. "If you can arrange for pharmacies and medications and groceries to be delivered, this would be the week to put that in place."
