Please read this carefully. We love this dog Luci. She will be 1 year old April 1st. Spayed and all shots. We live in 15 acres of woods and we also have another Border Collie that loves Luci as well. However, keeping Luci and the Border Collie inside the 15 acres has proven impossible. They love to "run and roam" and even though we are way out in the country and many acres of farms around us they dont come home sometimes for hours............and we are afraid they will get hit, or shot from chasing chickens, or in a Coyote fight plus we have had cougar sightings in the area. There is no way I can put up an electric underground fence just too expensive and it drives her crazy being inside the house all day and not out playing so we have decided to re-home her which is painful. There is no fee...but you will need to convince us that you have a fenced backyard big enough and high enough for this girl to run and play and that you are responsible pet lovers. You also need to know something about the breed...that they are a one owner type dog and once they attach themselves to you they shun and bark at other people out of protection for the owner. When we got her at 4 months she barked at us too until we got her in the car and then she laid her head on my wifes lap before we were 1 mile down the road...so it may take a couple days to adjust but we cant let this "wandering" continue with a tragic outcome.
