Established Modern Rock Band Seeks Drummer For Next Level
Meets
New York City NY
Description
Talented and dedicated drummer sought for established local/regional (soon to be national) rock band to play out, record and film original content. Libricide is a multi-faceted modern rock band and production house hailing from New York, USA. The group has been local hometown favorites for several years, and perform regularly at venues such as The Chance Theater, Bitter End, The Gramercy Theatre and more. Their music is featured on WSOU-Seton Hall Pirate Radio and WUSB among others, as well as in local and national press, with one EP and full-length album to date (and new music soon to be released). Their videos and viral content have garnered hundreds of thousands of views across social media including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and more (with additional productions in the works). We are about to release our next full-length record; Consilience is out everywhere April 8th! We have a record release show & party w/ Tantric at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie the same night. Our singer and main producer has moved (along with his studio) to the Newburgh area. We are currently looking for a drummer who “gets” us; our sound, approach, potential, and upward trajectory. We pulled out all the stops on this record and it shows- we are looking to play out in the Hudson Valley area and beyond this Spring/Summer. Personality-wise, the ideal teammate would be serious and experienced, but knows how to have fun and grow with us; has commitment in mind and understands what it takes to bring things to the next level. We are already entirely self-sufficient as a unit, but it always helps to have someone with showbiz/production experience on the team. Professionally, please possess the following: • Able and open to playing any and all songs in the catalogue, as well as new material and covers based on the nature of the show/performance. • Different styles of music (rock, progressive, metal, alternative, pop, hip-hop, etc), double-kick, alternate times, to a click (recordings), sampling live as needed. • Promo: draw support for shows (both online and personal) and having your own online presence (we regularly receive supplemental media from shows/photo shoots for everyone to use as well). • Transportation; unfortunately, this is necessary for shows – though we do carpool and accommodate for overnight events. • Able to contribute talent-wise to a four-piece project and financially outsource as needed. • Understanding the necessity of good communication and being a team player in all regards. • Late twenties to early/mid-thirties preferred. The more knowledge of anything and everything related to music, the arts and the industry the better. Not looking for a hired-gun situation, but more someone who wants to grow with us long term. Thank you!
