In 2019 she delighted in the opportunity to build Providence’s Population Health Department from scratch, which turned out to be remarkably good timing, considering all that has happened since! Becky believes love and kindness are the most powerful tools for making positive change. She holds a master’s degree in Nursing Leadership & Management from Western Governors University. In 2022, she will graduate from Washington State University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Advanced Population Health Nurse, with public health and teaching certificates. According to Becky, her most outstanding achievement is helping raise four kind, curious, and civic-minded children to adulthood. She plans to live and make a difference until she is 102 years old, believing there are opportunities everywhere to make the world a better place.
