Dyslexia Simulation, to better explain and demonstrate different learning challenges that people of all ages face. Have you ever wondered what its like to have dyslexia? Perhaps you have a family member or student that has dyslexia, and you would like to know how you can better help and support them. Well this is the perfect event for you. Successful Learning Education Services, a tutoring company that specializes in working with students that have different learning challenges, will be hosting a dyslexia simulation event. This interactive session will immerse you in the sights and sounds and the tactile challenges of a student with dyslexia through full audience participation in 5 separate activities. Everyone will play an active part in each of the learning scenarios. Following the introduction, the audience will be divided into groups and will rotate through the 5 activities; during the exercises each person will experience first-hand the daily learning challenges facing students who learn differently. The simulation will be followed by an in-depth presentation on dyslexia and controlled text. Washington education clock hours will be provided. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Early registration ends April 11th. Early registrations will be entered into a gift basket raffle. **There is a fully refundable $20 registration fee after participation of the event. The refund will be processed with in 48 hours after event. Pease note that the credit card fee does not apply to the refund.**
