Finish off your St.Patrick's Day festivities in style at The ICC! A live traditional Irish music performance with The Sheep Stealers! The Sheepstealers are an Irish folk group featuring Brenda Castles of Dublin, Ireland (concertina, vocals, whistle); Joey Abarta of Boston, MA (uilleann pipes, whistles); and David McKinley-Ward of Washington D.C. (vocals, guitar, bouzouki). All three are lovers and collectors of traditional song and dance tunes and together they create new arrangements for old music. They are influenced by bands Planxty, Frank Harte, and The Chieftains. Their rich harmonies and beautiful arrangements are based in tradition while integrating innovation.
