Treat your partner to a fun and tasty night of making French Macarons. Hands on Macaron Making Class Young or Old, Pro or Newbie baker - this is a hands on class perfect for everyone. Makes a great date Nite or night out with friends. Together with Pastry Chef Mia, you will make Vanilla Macarons, Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream, and Raspberry Buttercream . In this 3 hour hands-on class, we will go step by step and practice how to whip meringue, fold batter, pipe out and bake macaron cookies. We will then make chocolate ganache and strawberry buttercream to fill our beautiful macarons. These skills and recipes are the cornerstone of Macarons and will set you on a journey of your own Macaron Making. This class is a taught by Chef Mia. Chef Mia brings in ten years of professional pastry experience to our team! Chef Mia has worked under the guidance of former Jean Georges Executive Pastry Chef, Johnny Luzzini and Pink Cakebox owner, Anne Heap. She is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan and owns cake boutique business and specializes on custom cakes and desserts. She is very excited to teach our pastry classes and share her culinary expertise with you. ------ Classes start promptly and we ask that all participants arrive about fifteen minutes early to check in and get settled. Due to limited space and the upfront costs of food, our classes and events are only refundable 7 days before event start date. If within 7 days of event start date you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. The event organizer has the right to cancel class within 3 days of event start date if a minimum of 3 attendees is not met. Should the class be cancelled, participants will be offered to select another cooking class of equal or lesser value. Thank you.
