This family-friendly walk/run is a noncompetitive event for Wild Things of all ages before they head down to Pier 21 for some delicious Wild Game and free-flowing beverages! Your entry fee includes Participation Medal, Fun Event Swag, and 2 free libations (1 at packet pick up AND 1 at the event)! Packet Pick Up #2 – Day of the event, 5/14/22, starting at 8:00 am at Beerfoot Brewery. 5K TIMELINE 8:00 am– Day of Registration/ Day of Packet Pick-Up opens at Beerfoot Brewery 8:45 am- Warm-up activities 9:00 am- 5K Fun Run/ Walk Begins! 10:30 am- Post Run Celebration! 11:00am- Yaga's Children's Fund World Wild Game Championship and Barbecue Cook-off, live music, vendors, kids area, and more!!-Head to Pier 21 (21st & Harborside)! A portion of our proceeds goes to our wonderful beneficiaries of the Yaga's Children's Fund. Throughout the 25 years of the event, and now entering its 26th year, the Yaga’s Children’s Fund has allocated an excess of $1,700,000 for Galveston County children’s charities. The current volunteer board works hard year-round to fund numerous charities with the assistance of generous sponsors and cook teams.
