TCVN Presents : 3-2-1 Launch! TCVN's Tipping Point!Join us for TCVN’s Tipping Point, a Master Mind discussion about a topic which is pivotal to the success of a business. The Master Mind panel will be accomplished by TCVN Board members and invited guests. Together they will create a Genius Bar for the evening, tackling an issue germane to most companies. So much energy and resources are spent trying to get to the Launch Stage without any thought or plan on how to Scale or what the next phases in development are. How do you know it's time to Scale? What does the company have to look like to support the Scale? Is the process Launch then Scale, or is there something in between? When to raise money or more money? He has held founder or C-level positions for over forty years in the apparel industry, equipment distribution and retail arenas. Mr. Sawitz has been published nationally, spoke nationally as a keynote speaker and has been interviewed on numerous occasions in print and talk radio shows. His charity work includes President of the National Alliance of Ship Centers, the board of directors Tech Coast Venture Network, the board of directors The Center for Entrepreneurship CSUF, Professional Mentors Advisors and Coaches, and Charter Member of TiE the world’s largest entrepreneurial education organization. Additionally, he was an adjunct professor teaching Lean Startup Strategies at CSUF and hosts an entrepreneurial podcast called FastStart.talk (FastStartTalk.podbean.com). His latest endeavor is as Adjunct Professor at Irvine Valley College Business School. Scott FoxScott Fox has founded, coached, or invested in hundreds of startup ventures of all sizes. As a serial entrepreneur, former investment banker, and angel investor, his diverse expertise forms the basis of his 3 best-selling books about Internet entrepreneurship, which have been translated into many languages worldwide. As a startup advisor and investor today he focuses mostly on early stage software companies with high growth potential. He has invested in 20+ companies and is a Limited Partner in 3 seed stage venture funds. An advocate for early stage entrepreneurs and startup ecosystems, Scott serves as the CEO of the Startup Council (http://StartupCouncil.org), a community service group promoting inclusive access to technology entrepreneurship. Sterner has over 20 years of experience as a Managing Director at Pinacol, a leader in next-generation digital technology services who works with Fortune 500 clients and Startups. Accompanied with his vast years of experience he is also the founder/investor of Blazonco, a successful marketing and advertising agency. He has also held a Board/VP of Data/OKRs & Marketing position at TCVN for over 3 years now. Alongside his mentioned experience, he has dedicated countless years to the success of his community! Zack JiZack Ji is a leader and business owner with a unique blend of pragmatic experience working in both information technology and investment management. Since 2018 he has been the Director of Student Financial Planning at Oracle Corporation, who improves student success both academically and financially. Zack is also the Managing Director at UniEast Investments, an asia-focused investment organization. He is one of our many own as well, and has held a board position at TCVN for about 2 1/2 years now! Alongside his long list of experience he is on the Dean’s Leadership Council, an academic unit of University of California, Irvine (UCI), and the only dedicated school of computer science in the University of California system. TCVN PITCH CONTEST! If you would like to practice your 30 second pitch, be sure to register for a General Admission ticket! All registrants will have the opportunity to give their best pitch to the audience. The winner of the pitch contest will be eligible for a one hour meeting with the board member of your choice, and promotion on our social media sites!
