The Lone Star Film Society and BLANC cowork + studio present Finding the YOU - Self-Tape Audition Technique with Gary Weeks on Saturday, May 21, 2022, 1 pm - 5 pm in Fort Worth, Texas. In this three-hour workshop, Gary Weeks will provide tips on navigating a successful self-tape audition.  The workshop will include: Properly using a camera or phone to record your auditionLighting your spaceCapturing clean audioEditing recorded auditionsManaging live Zoom auditionsUnderstanding your character and what casting directors are looking forTips on giving yourself the best opportunity for a callbackThere will be a designated time for attendees to practice in front of the camera, seeing how they look and sound on a monitor while reading audition sides.  The workshop will close with Gary discussing his career and the do's and don't's of auditioning and acting on a film set. To end the day, the Lone Star Film Society will host a happy hour where attendees can mingle with fellow creatives.
