Have baby join in at the family table and take stress out of meal times!
**Class will be held in the 3rd floor conference room.
Will your baby be starting solid foods soon? Maybe you’re hoping to help your baby develop self-feeding skills. Baby-Led Weaning, or babies feeding themselves solid foods, is surging in popularity versus traditional pureed “baby food” feeding.
At this workshop we will discuss:
-Why parents are choosing BLW
-Signs of readiness
-How to start
-Top beginner foods
-Foods to avoid
-Choking vs. gagging + how to prevent choking
-Allergens
-Vital nutrients for baby
-Hot topics, like dining out and tips for other caregivers
-Sample first foods + recipes to get started
This workshop is for you if you:
-Are preparing to feed your baby using BLW or like the idea of BLW, but aren’t sure where to start
-Have already started purees, but are interested in helping your baby become more independent with feeding and being a part of family meals
-Have a 3-5 month old who recently has or will be starting solids soon
-Are feeling overwhelmed with feeding your baby – or family in general
-Wondering when "normal" feeding would cross over into "problem" feeding and when to seek further help
-Want to connect and share experiences with other new parents
My goal for this workshop is that new parents are able to connect with each other and become inspired and comfortable to feed their baby through baby-led weaning.
Workshop investment is $40 (includes spouse/partner or other support person). You'll get lifelong access to a Facebook Group exclusively for parents who have taken this course.
Feel free to bring baby! Seating may be limited, so advanced registration is preferred.
