Or pick a spot along the sidewalks to enjoy the parade and get lots of candy! Live Music + Food Vendors + Kids Activities After the parade, enjoy live music and a variety of food trucks. Kids can enjoy pony rides, face painting, games, barrel rides, and more! Fun Run Kalona Days starts off on Saturday morning with the Fun Run! Pre-register at the Kalona Area Chamber of Commerce. Pie Baking Contest Enter your homemade pie to win prizes and the status of best pie in Kalona! Kalona Days Pie Baking Contest is a nonprofessional baking contest open to the community. Volleyball Tournament The Kalona YMCA hosts a volleyball tournament on Saturday afternoon. Farmers Market You’ll find fresh produce, baked goods, pies, donuts, locally made crafts + art, honey, noodles, meats, jams, and more.
