Description
POTTSTOWN, PA — A lane of Route 100 will be shut down later this month as crews install a new traffic signal in Pottstown.
The closure will be in place from Monday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 28 (during weekdays) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT announced.
The closure will be in place at the intersection of Route 100 with Shoemaker Road.
Motorists should plan for delays in the area.
The fully federally funded project is part of a larger plan to improve safety and traffic in the Pottstown, Noth Coventry, and Lower Pottsgrove area but upgrading 52 signalized intersections, the state said.
West Chester's Road-Con is the general contractor on the $13.7 million project.
