In what areas did pacific grove pour poison into pipes to kill tree roots several weeks ago, before well over 100 raccoons were found very sick? Distemper is not uncommon in these populations, and two were found to have distemper. But what about the rest? Did anyone test for poison? Does drainage from these pipes go toward Marina? Could any of this poison from the old, leaky pipes wind up in the bay? What about when there’s a big sewage spill like the recent one at Asilomar beach?
