About the role We are looking for valet attendants who are dedicated to providing great customer service and professionalism, while making money and having fun! Enthusiasm and a passion for customer service are key attributes that we are looking for as you will be the first level of interaction with our residents/guests. A flexible availability is a must as weekly schedules could vary to include days, nights, weekends or holidays. Shifts are available for daytime and nights. Weekend availability is preferred. Applicants must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets our standards. Candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check. Responsibilities (May include some or all of the following as applicable) • Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. • Meet and greet all residents or guests upon arrival; open guest vehicle doors, assist with unloading vehicle when necessary. • Retrieve keys from residents or guests; issue ticket to guest or enter customer information using appropriate software. • Park resident/guest car in appropriate space, ensure safe and appropriate operation of vehicles. • Inspect vehicle for preexisting damage record information using manual ticket; correctly record the make, model and exact location of each vehicle. • Quickly retrieve vehicles for waiting residents or guests; assist with loading luggage, groceries or personal items when necessary. • Provide excellent customer service; respond to inquiries in a courteous manner, give directions to nearest highway, destination, etc. • Direct traffic, position barricades, and arrange for towing service when necessary. • Immediately report any incidents or claims to Property Manager or Shift Lead. • Request and collect relevant fees for use of service. • Assist in reconciling end of shift revenue against the ticket distribution, when necessary. • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates Candidate requirements • At least 18 years of age with Valid Driver’s License • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check including drug, MVR and criminal background check • Previous valet experience, preferred • Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. • Multiple language (English & Spanish) fluency required • Must have professional appearance and attitude at all times. • Available to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and special events. • Ability to drive a manual transmission • Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time Commitments • Job Type: Full-time / Part-time • Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour + tips • Benefits: Paid time off Contact us to apply If you are interested in the position, please contact Sheebra Brown, Property Manager at 305-868-3488 x103 or via email at [email protected].
