Bring your 12-17 teen girls for a guided dinner discussion with community leaders and health specialists about how to engage their reality. This is an opportunity for our girls to come together and build relationships through sharing a common meal, identifying common interpersonal needs/problems in community with peers and gleaning from the expertise of leaders also in attendance. Joining us will be: Theresa Baker - Local Promoter and Artist Manager McKenzie Davis - Licensed Therapist Carissa Rodgers - Organizer, Educator and Spiritual Guide Ashley Taylor - Nurse and Girls/Women's Empowerment Advocate The purpose of this program series is to build community capacity, identify the needs and issues our young women are struggling with as well as provide guidance, education, skills an resources to enhance their development while establishing a peer group they can build shared values and culture with. These sessions will happen once monthly to start and increase as the need presents itself.
