CHATHAM, NJ - Another scam has developed through text message and the Chatham Borough Police Department want residents to be aware. "If you receive a text or email indicating the you have been detected with a speed infringement in Chatham, New Jersey with a Case Number and a fine due, along with a hyperlink to view the photo of the vehicle. This is a scam," police said. According to authorities, the Chatham Borough Police Department does not enforce with any such system.
