Press release from the Nassau County Government: March 17, 2022 (GARDEN CITY, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) proudly attended the Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition's Fifth Annual gala on Friday, March 11. During the celebration, she presented Laura Altman and Kathy Baxley, Co-Vice Presidents of Outreach, with Nassau County Legislature Citations in honor of their advocacy and support for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Together, Laura and Kathy helped connect nearly 50 counselors and survivors on the south shore with support services and access to quality breast cancer care resources. "For the thousands of men and women who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, support from organizations like the Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition is crucial as they fight to overcome this deadly disease," Legislator Mulé said.
