DANBURY, CT — Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with gunshots fired outside of Chili's restaurant on Newtown Road earlier this month. Keenas Council, 21, of Danbury, was charged with threatening and breach of peace. He was released on a $50,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court April 12. Council's arrest follows the arrest of a juvenile on firearm and assault charges on March 11. According to the warrant, a woman having a birthday celebration with her three sons in the restaurant told police that another group had begun verbally provoking her sons. Council also made "hand gestures consistent with gang signs," the woman told police. When Council and members of the group, one allegedly holding a dagger, approached the woman they were intercepted by a man who was with the mother, and his co-workers. Council and his group fled, were pursued by the older men outside, where the shots were fired.
