Press release from the City of Ankeny: March 16, 2022 The Ankeny Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a missing endangered male. Brian Groehn (55) was last seen at roughly 4 p.m. in the 600 block of NW Kimberly Circle, when he left a relative's residence on foot. Groehn was recently diagnosed with dementia and was last seen wearing a puffy black winter coat, blue jeans and boots. Groehn is a white male, 5'10", 160 lbs. with long white hair and a white beard. He is not carrying a cell phone and is believed to be on foot. Anyone who has information about Groehn's whereabouts are asked to call Polk County Dispatch at (515) 286-3333, ext. 5.
