GENEVA, IL — The fourth annual Geneva Coffee Cup Crawl is coming up April 30, and crawlers will have the opportunity to sample java from 14 participating businesses. Samples will vary and extend beyond a standard cup of joe to include coffee creations and coffee with a kick — only adults 21 and older will be able to try spiked samples. Third St. in GenevaPenrose Brewing, 505 Stevens St. in Geneva There's no specific order to the event, so participants can visit all businesses throughout the day in a way that fits their schedules, according to the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, which is organizing the event. Tickets to the crawl — Chamber officials said could sell out (they did in 2021) — cost $30 and can be purchased online. Participants will receive 14 tickets stubs and a souvenir Coffee Crawl cup with the purchase. Tickets and coffee cups can be picked up at the Chamber office, 8 S. Third Street in Geneva after April 15 or starting at 9:30 a.m. day-of in the downstairs office of the Visitor Center. If the event doesn't sell out, remaining tickets will be available at the Visitor Center on a first-come, first-served basis.
