PARK RIDGE, IL — An unknown serial bank robber is believed to have been involved in four separate robberies since January, according to the FBI's Chicago field office. The latest came at 3:51 p.m. Monday at the Parkway Bank, 1001 North Northwest Highway, Park Ridge. The man should be considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI released video images from several of the robberies. The man is described as 5-foot, 11-inches, thin build, with black hair, a light complexion, and between the ages of 40 and 50. He wore a dark blue hat, a black mask, gloves, a white jacket, dark-colored pants, and white shoes.
The man is believed to be responsible for the following bank robberies in addition to the one in Park Ridge, according to the FBI:
At 11:56 a.m. Jan. 22, Byline Bank, 7751 Lake St., River Forest.At 3:32 p.m. July 6, Parkway Bank, 4858 North Milwaukee Ave., ChicagoAt 12:13 p.m. July 8, Wood Dale Bank and Trust, 171 East Irving Park Road, Wood DaleThe FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of the unknown man.
