Here are the top three stories today in Grand Rapids: A Grand Rapids mother is spreading awareness about the state's lack of laws regarding mold and tenants' rights. Heather Rector is currently staying at a hotel with her two daughters since her home is covered in mold. According to Rector, the city does not test for mold, which is a costly process, but only marks items that need to be cleaned or repaired. (FOX 17 West Michigan News)Comedian April Macie is performing at Grand Rapids' Back Alley Comedy Club and Billy's Lounge this weekend. Macie has appeared on Netflix, Showtime, and Comedy Central. Her Friday show will begin at 8:00 p.m. and her Saturday show will begin at 7:00 p.m. with tickets starting at $20. (FOX 17 West Michigan News)Electric Lime Scooters have returned to Grand Rapids. While the average cost of fuel in Michigan remains at $4.20, the electric scooters offer a unique opportunity for Grand Rapids travelers. According to Lime's Senior Operations Manager, the scooters have seen usage increase by 200 to 300 percent on some days over the past two weeks.
