URGENT ONE YEAR OLD PUPPY IS NOW SET FOR EUTHNASIA. She did nothing wrong! (details below) (March 19th, 8 am). Adopter or Foster needed ASAP! Read entire post. STRESS! and now I am now injuring myself in my kennel.! It’s just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I don’t want to die!! Just look at my sad face! I’m a 1-year-old, spayed, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier Mix (57 lbs.) I came in as a stray. The person who found me said I was very friendly! Volunteers at the shelter LOVE me! I am friendly, wiggly, and lean in for pets. I “sit” for treats and take them gently. There is nothing really wrong with me,....no bad behaviors are documented....I am miserable here, and I am struggling mentally in this kennel day after day. I haven’t had a dog-to-dog evaluation, but the shelter is requiring me to be an only dog at this time due to my high level of over-excitement and focus on dogs when I am close to them. Children in the home must be 12+, and it is recommended that I meet the entire family before going home and that my adopter or foster be experienced. I will need time to de-stress (go on walks and have time to unwind). I have done nothing wrong and deserve to live! I can't imagine this is how it could end for me…will you save my life?
