The Coalition of All Breed Rescue of Arizona (CABRA), a nonprofit IRS 501(c)(3) organization is having another of it's low cost microchip and vaccination clinics Sunday from 9 to 2:00 p.m. at the U of A Maricopa County Cooperative Extension building on 4341 E. Broadway in Phoenix (roughly 43rd place and Broadway and by the traffic light there). We will have a small sign by the entrance. HomeAgain microchips, including registration, are only $20 each. Each vaccination (parvo/distemper, rabies, or bordatella) are only $15 each if the dog/cat gets a microchip or has one. We do have the cat equivalent of distemper shots at the same prices. These are great prices and reflect our low overhead. There is no separate vet examination fee and service is on a first come first serve basis. No appointment necessary Microchips have successfully been used to reunite lost dogs with their owners. Nobody expects their dog to be lost, but it happens. Dogs have been returned after years of being lost and returned because of the microchip. At these prices you want your pet to have one. Microchips and shots given by a licensed vet and there is no separate "visit" charge. This clinic is open to the general public and you don't have to have an appointment or be a member of CABRA to participate. So come on out Please notice that we use HomeAgain microchips because we think they are the best. You want the best registry if your pet gets lost. We take cash, checks, debit, or credit cards.
