We have an immediate opening for a Marine Yard Technician. Duties will be mainly assisting the equipment operator for hauling and launching boats, general boat maintenance, bottom painting, buffing and waxing, shrink wrapping and operating a forklift. Lifting includes boat blocking, jack stands and other items 50 lbs or more. Requirements: Must be highly organized, self-motivated, able to meet strict deadlines, and available for over-time hours during the busy season. Applicants are required to wear a respirator (when necessary) and have personal tools. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Good mechanical aptitude and prior experience in general boat maintenance and boat hauling/launching is a plus. Education: High school diploma or GED. Pay: Competitive pay based on Experience.
