Help! kittens

Hi there yesterday I was cleaning up my yard and I found a mother cat that had babies in a cardboard box in my yard. I'm not a cat person I don't even want this cat in my yard because I have chickens and something killed my quail this past week and it must have been her. I don't know if the cat is totally feral or does it live nearby but anyway I don't know what to do about these kittens. Does anyone want to take the mother in these kittens. I reached out to the local pet adoption place here in Lathrop and they didn't even call me back. I don't know what to do. The kittens are really small they're probably just of age where their eyes open they look like they're about 4 in long but their eyes are open.
