These four have been together since they were babies and are bonded to each other. They are three years old - parakeets live for 15 years or more so please be sure you are ready to take on a long term pet. Wings are NOT clipped. We have become allergic to them and have had to keep them in the garage because of this. They used to be tame but because we have not handled them in months, they are no longer hand tame. I am certain with patience and love they will be again. They need to go to someone with experience with birds and a willingness to let them free fly in a room in the home because the cage, although very large, is not acceptable as a 24/7 home. All birds need time and exercise outside of the cage at least a few times a week. They come with the large cage shown and many extras - cage skirts that keep the seeds in the cage, food, millet, toys, perches, bath that hooks on the front door. You will need to supply additional fresh foods such as broccoli, romaine lettuce and shredded carrots - contrary to popular belief, parakeets cannot live their best and healthiest life on a seed only diet. You will need a car with a large back seat area or an SUV type of vehicle to pick them up as the cage is large. To ensure that they are not going to someone who just wants to feed them to a snake there is a re-homing fee of $40 - cash only please. I will not deliver, you must come pick them up.
