Traffic Delays Expected Due To Water Main Installation

PALATINE, IL — The installation of a new water main is scheduled to start this week in Palatine, as village officials warn commuters of traffic delays. According to the village, work on the new water main on East Palatine Road, west of Winston Drive, is scheduled to be completed by mid-September, depending on weather. The water main will be installed within the roadway and right-of-way, the village added. Drivers can expect traffic delays at the intersection of Palatine Road and Winston Drive, in addition to some lane reductions on Palatine Road during business hours.
