Handsome adult papillon “Tanuki”

Tanuki is a beautiful, seven-year-old pure-bred papillon who loves to play fetch with his beloved ducky and relax near his humans. Tanuki is an easy dog to love. He’s healthy, affectionate, and he gets along with other small dogs. He recently lost his mom to cancer. Tanuki needs a home with no young kids where his humans are around most of the time and can adapt to or work with Tanuki on the following issues: Tanuki was never fully housebroken. Tanuki likely needs more intense training and more frequent walks than his former owners were able to provide. Tanuki pees in the house less with four or more walks a day, but, even then, he pees in the house sometimes. Tanuki is not great with kids. He avoids them and sometimes growls or snaps at them if they come too close. Tanuki barks at visitors when they arrive, outdoor noises, and animals on tv. Tanuki needs regular hair cuts to keep his hindquarters clean. Tanuki is shy around new humans, though not aggressive.
