Palo Alto Holds 'Contactless' Holiday Toy Drive

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto has adapted its annual Holiday Toy Drive to the age of coronavirus. The city is holding a "contactless" toy drive from Dec. 12 to 16. All donations will go to local youth in need. City officials are asking that unwrapped toys, books or gift cards can be donated at a drop off location at Mitchell Park Community Center (3700 Middlefield Rd.). The drop off location will be open on Dec. 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Dec. 15 and 16 from 3 to 7 p.m. Anyone with questions is asked to contact Chris Penaranda at [email protected]
