We have a band based in Allendale. Our backgrounds vary in gigs/experience from ~10 to 30+ years, and music from most eras most popular styles. We've all been in many bands but welcome newbies no problem. Currently a 3-piece and need to be 4 again. We play Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Rock, Blues, Blues-Rock, R&B, Funk. We are 'want people dancing' band with our first show booked for August (20 songs or so). We'd like someone who can, and will, switch Guitar and Bass. Bring some songs of yours (covers) and we could learn some.. I'm sure if you already know a ton we also know them. Drama? No. We have our shit together..Everybody imbibes reasonably and nobody is jerk-ish. Newer musicians: Have you been in bands before? Do you sing? We all do so no big deal if not. Are you set up with home recording? Who do you listen to and what do you play best? How many songs do you play 'best'? We have about 1/3 to 1/2 of our proposed, complete 4-hour, set-list in working order..now is the time to bring someone in..before it gets too much to learn. Probably nothing you have never heard before as far as songs go. Give me a reply. Thanks.
